SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO. LTD Named 2020 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations

SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO. LTD. was once again recognized as one of the ‘Most Sustainable Corporations in the World’ in Corporate Knights, 2020 Global 100 Sekisui Global 100 Most Sustainable Companies Index ranking 12th (out of the 7,400 companies evaluated). This is the highest ranking of a Japanese company in the index. This year, we were recognized for achievements in multiple categories including clean revenue, resource and clean air productivity, innovation capacity, safety, and employee retention.

Since 2005, Canadian firm Corporate Knights has compiled the Global 100, an annual list of the world’s most sustainable companies. Using publicly available data, Corporate Knights rates major companies in all sectors on a variety of key measures, evaluating their sustainability performance. The results are announced annually at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
