Account Manager - Enzymes (China)

Responsible for B2B sales and territory management activities for Sekisui Diagnostics’ Enzyme Business’ products within the designated geographic territory, excluding a defined list of strategic key accounts that will be managed by the Global B2B Sales team (Enzyme & IVD products). This position will grow existing accounts, develop new accounts and maximize and develop B2B relationships to accomplish corporate sales objectives and expand the visibility of our product portfolio to a larger audience.


May include some or all of the following:

  • Makes independent sales calls to customers that result in the achievement of sales and market share growth targets
  • Creates and delivers effective sales presentations
  • Participates in Sekisui Diagnostic sponsored trade shows, sales meetings and local meetings as required and necessary
  • Carries out targeting, prospecting activities to identify potential customers for the Enzyme portfolio in the assigned territory
  • Works with / calls on Business Partners
  • Responsible for all sale forecasts for the assigned territory and works towards achieving target revenue budgets
  • Grows existing accounts and develops new accounts in order to meet sales forecasts and budgets
  • Routinely utilizes the business’ CRM system for pricing, sampling, and recording contact information / key communications
  • Manages the assigned territory within expense budget
  • Provides routine Business Reviews with key accounts, where applicable
  • Interface with Marketing / Product Management and Commercial / Technical Services organizations as appropriate
  • Accountable for all sales practices to be in compliance with all relevant laws regulating the sales of Enzyme products, where applicable
  • Understands and adhere to all required QSR, ISO, Safety and Legal compliance laws such as antitrust, deceptive marketing practices, and price fixing
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as required, preferably with some technical / scientific background
  • Sufficient prior B2B sales experience within the territory for Life Science / Healthcare / Medical products
  • Prior track record of hitting or exceeding sales growth targets desired
  • Must live and be based within the assigned territory
  • Ability to work remotely and independently with general supervision

  • Knowledge of the Healthcare marketplace
  • Demonstrates excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Must be organized with strong analytical skills, territory and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Open to change and diversity

  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships
