Total Iron Binding Capacity (TIBC) is tested alongside serum iron to determine the bloods capacity to bind iron with transferrin. It is therefore an indirect measure of transferrin particularly important when testing for anemia and iron deficiency.
Features and Benefits
- For use in the measurement of total iron-binding capacity.
- The Direct TIBC Reagents, R1 and R2 are ready to use as supplied.
