Need Medical Technologist for Inside Sales Representative

This is an excellent opportunity for a medical technologist interested in a sales career. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for sales and territory management activities with emphasis on Sekisui Diagnostics’ clinical chemistry replacement reagents products and the extended branded product portfoliowithin assigned geographic territory which may be comprised of physician’s office (POL), hospital laboratories, reference laboratories and veterinary clinics. The Sales Representative will grow and maintain existing accounts and develop new accounts in order to meet sales and profitability goals. The Inside Sales Representative will maximize and develop customer relationships to accomplish corporate sales objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all sale revenue budgets/forecasts for the assigned territory
  • Calls on end user customers in assigned territory
  • Grows existing business and develops new business in order to meet sales forecasts and budgets
  • Makes outbound calls to existing customers and prospective new customers that results in the achievement of new sales and market share growth
  • Maintain and manage existing business within the assigned territory
  • Identifies opportunities in the market place where there are unmet needs
  • Discuss product features and benefits to potential customers
  • Prepare quotes
  • Maintains and expand customer information along with documenting all calls into EQC database
  • Work with other sales teams within the organization to help maximize and accomplish corporate sales objectives
  • Participates in Sekisui Diagnostic sponsored trade shows, sales meetings and local meetings as required and necessary
  • Accountable for all sales practices to be in compliance with all State and Federal laws regulating the sales of IVD products
  • Understands and adhere to all required QSR, ISO, Safety and Legal compliance laws such as antitrust, deceptive marketing practices, and price fixing.
  • Ability to travel when needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MT (Medical Technology) is required
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare marketplace
  • Demonstrates excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers
  • Must be organized with strong analytical skills, territory and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Success driven
  • Open to change and diversity

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently with general supervision
  • 2 years direct work experience in a clinical laboratory
  • 2-3 years inside sales experience with Clinical Chemistry is a plus
