Bob Schruender

Bob establishes the strategic direction for Sekisui Diagnostics; leads the global organization including the Commercial, Operations, Research and Development, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, HR and Legal functions; and achieves the annual and long term financial objectives of the business.

Bob is a proven leader with a track record of improving performance. He has 18 years of industry experience with roles of increasing responsibility in Sales & Marketing, Operations, IT and General Management. Since joining Sekisui Diagnostics in 1996, he has held leadership roles in various divisions including VP/General Manager of the Rapid Test Business Unit, Director Operations, Rapid Tests and Director of Operations, Clinical Chemistry. Previously, he worked for Andersen Consulting where he gained valuable experience in project and team management, process re-engineering and effective communication skills.

Bob graduated with Distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Alan Bauer

Vice President, Global Finance

Alan Bauer

Alan adds business value to Sekisui Diagnostics through insightful and actionable business decision support and financial analysis, delivery of optimal financial reporting and transaction processing, safeguarding of Sekisui assets and compliance assurance of corporate and governmental regulations. In his role, he works to promote continuous improvement, professional growth, personal integrity and teamwork.

He is an accomplished, solutions-driven finance executive and global business partner with over 30 years of business experience including extensive strategic, operational and project leadership experience in the Pharmaceutical and Life Science industries. He collaborates with commercial and manufacturing operations to achieve superior business results, deliver innovative performance improvements, and strengthen processes, controls and decision-making rigor. He joined the company as Director of Finance at Sekisui Diagnostics in 2011. Prior to that he spent 24 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he held various leadership roles in Finance, Supply Chain Operations and Project Management.

Alan received his BS in Accounting from Washington & Lee University and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Jason Bilobram

Senior Director, Quality Assurance, Trade Compliance and Regulatory

Jason Bilobram

Jason has worked in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for more than 20 years with leadership roles in both the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industries.   He joined Sekisui Diagnostics in 2015 and is responsible for ensuring global compliance with relevant laws, rules and regulations. This includes Quality Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, Regulatory Compliance, and Post-Market Surveillance. 

Prior to joining Sekisui Diagnostics, Jason served in a variety of Quality and Regulatory roles at Smith-Nephew Inc., most recently as Global Director of Safety Affairs, where he was responsible for various programs within Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance across multi-site, domestic and international operations.

Jason holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Rhode Island and is completing his thesis in Molecular Biology with sponsorship from both Brown University and the University of Rhode Island.  He has achieved his Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) as well as holding a Green Belt Certification.  He is a member of AdvaMed DX and AAMI acting as an industry advocate for various committees and work groups.

Harold Chan

Vice President, IVD R&D and Manufacturing

Harold Chan

In his current role Harold is responsible for IVD Research and Development and Manufacturing. Harold has a strong background in Operations, General Management and Finance spanning 15+ years. Since joining Sekisui Diagnostics in 2002, he has held multiple leadership roles such as Director of Supply Chain Operations and Plant Controller for the Rapid Diagnostic Business Unit. He has a proven track record for driving high quality efficient processes throughout operations. Before joining Sekisui Diagnostics, he worked in several high tech companies in Silicon Valley.

Harold is a graduate from San Jose State University and is a Certified Six Sigma Champion.

Raymond De Rise

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Raymond De Rise

Ray joined Sekisui Diagnostics in September 2016 and is responsible for leading the Legal, Intellectual Property and Compliance functions.  Ray brings over 40 years of legal and compliance experience, largely centered on the pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer health-care industries. His experience includes General Counsel positions at Juniper Pharmaceuticals, and Systagenix Wound Management. He also held senior positions in the Legal Departments of KV Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline.

Ray holds a B.A. in Political Science from St. Francis College and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. He is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Boston Bar Association and New York County Lawyer’s Association and he has served on the Boards of HealthCare Without Walls and Wake Up Narcolepsy.

Bill Faranda

Senior Director, Business Development

Bill Faranda

Bill leads the business development activities for Sekisui Diagnostics and is responsible for participating in the design of the overall business strategy and assisting in the execution of that strategy by augmenting development efforts through partnerships and collaborations with third parties.  Those partnerships include joint development agreements, technology/product licensing, distribution/supply agreements as well as mergers and acquisitions.

 Bill has been working in the diagnostics field for over 35 years in a variety of commercial roles and in business development specifically for more than 20 years.  He joined Sekisui Diagnostics (then Genzyme Diagnostics) in 1991 and has held a number of business and management roles during his tenure with the company.  Prior to Sekisui Diagnostics, Bill spent 10 years in marketing management roles at Baxter Diagnostics.

Bill holds a B.S. in Analytical Chemistry from University of Massachusetts.

Lee Lipski

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Lee Lipski

Lee drives company revenue and profitability growth by maintaining a world-class commercial organization that puts our customers first. His team created and implemented the company’s sales and distribution structure that gives healthcare professionals around the globe access to products they can use to improve patient care.

Having joined in 1993, Lee has held a variety of roles in Sales, Marketing and Operations including Plant Manager of Sekisui Diagnostics’ clinical diagnostic products manufacturing facility in Canada.   In the role of Global Strategic Sales, Lee leads a team of highly experienced and capable sales staff located in the US and Europe who manage the company’s business to business sales and global strategic clients.  Lee utilizes a collaborative approach to working with our clients to best apply Sekisui Diagnostics’ portfolio of products and operational capabilities to the mutual benefit of all parties involved.   He is passionate about providing strong support to customers and promoting the value of the quality built into every Sekisui product and process, which ultimately leads to improved patient outcomes.

Nancy O'Neill

Vice President, Human Resources and Environmental Health & Safety

Nancy O'Neill

Nancy leads Global Human Resources and North America Environmental Health & Safety.  Nancy provides strategic human resources counsel and guidance as well as driving business effectiveness through HR strategy, total rewards, talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management and human resources and EH&S policy and program development.

Nancy is an accomplished human resources leader with almost 20 years of business and human resources experience. Nancy joined Sekisui Diagnostics in April of 2015.  Her most recent experience includes HR Leadership positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific and SIG Sauer. She brings extensive experience in working with leadership teams to develop effective business strategies, organizational development, and performance management systems across multi-site, domestic and international operations.

​Nancy holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of New Hampshire, M.S. in Organizational Leadership and MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She also has her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification, is a Six Sigma DMAIC Green Belt, and a certified facilitator through Development Dimensions International.

Nancy is a member of the Society of Human Resources, Human Resources Leadership Forum and New England Human Resources Association.

Will Stockburn

Vice President/General Manager, Enzyme Business

Will Stockburn

Will manages the newly created enzyme business segment including our UK manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Will joined Sekisui Diagnostics in 2007 and has over 30 year’s experience in the pharmaceutical, fine chemical and diagnostics industries. He has broad experience in Operations and site management in API manufacture and diagnostics. Before joining the organisation in Kent, he worked in a variety of roles including development, pilot plant, manufacturing and he was previously Operations Director and Site Leader before taking up his current role.

He holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of York and a DPhil in Physical Organic Chemistry, also from the University of York.
